Ignatian Colleagues Gathering
Right to Education
October 15-18, 2024
Detroit Metro Airport Marriott
Detroit, MI
Introduction
Welcome to JSN’s 2024 Right to Education ICG landing page.
Jesuit Schools are Committed to Being Accessible to All
Collaborating and Connecting in Support of the “Right to Education”
“We are committed to educate any class of person without distinction. It cannot be otherwise, because the educational apostolate bears the indelible Ignatian imprint of universality.” (Pedro Arrupe, S.J., Our Secondary Schools: Today and Tomorrow, 1980)
This gathering of Ignatian colleagues is designed for those in Jesuit education who serve underfunded and underserved students in North America. These efforts include, but are not limited to, Nativity Middle Schools, Cristo Rey High Schools, Jesuit Middle Schools, Jesuit Parish Schools, Pre-High School support programs, and High School support and scholarship programs.
We are delighted to welcome Dani Villanueva, S.J., Executive Director of the International Federation of Fe y Alegría, who will serve as our Keynote speaker.
In addition to school and program leaders, we welcome colleagues such as strategic planners, CFOs, Directors of Financial Aid, Directors of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging, Graduate Support Personnel, College Counselors, and Directors of Admissions/ Enrollment Management. We encourage participants to attend as “area teams,” in partnership and dialogue with neighboring Jesuit schools.
Registration for this event is now closed.
