Companions in Faith

An opportunity to grow professionally and as a follower of St. Ignatius Loyola is being offered to faculty and staff of Jesuit middle- and high schools in the USA Central and Southern Province. Companions in Faith, a six-week online seminar, offers colleagues in Jesuit schools professional development and formation in fundamental Catholic teachings that comprise the foundation of Jesuit education.

The seminar is aimed at helping Ignatian educators grow in appreciation for the Catholic faith and mission of Jesuit schools through reading, dialogue and personal reflection. The seminar offers something for everyone, regardless of religious background and years of experience in Jesuit education.

The online workshop was requested by the principals of province schools and was developed by the province in collaboration with mission formation directors and educational technologists in the schools. It is administered by the USA Central and Southern Province and hosted by the Jesuit Virtual Learning Academy.
