St. Leo Parish | Tacoma, WA 

Pastoral Administrator | July 2017 – August 2018

 

• Collaborates with the Pastor and pastoral staff in implementing parish mission/vision

• Manages staff, including hiring, supervision, evaluation, and termination

• Identifies issues with organizational structure and processes; collaborates with staff to design and implement solutions 

• Tracks and supports large-scale parish-wide projects, such as the pastor transition, Archdiocesan capital campaign, and rectory improvement plans

• Collaborates with staff to create a balanced budget, identify fundraising needs, monitor HR policies/procedures and support facilities needs

• Supports and oversees the collaborative ministry model (i.e. Commissions)

• Serves on the Pastoral Council, Finance Council, Stewardship Commission, Pastoral Care Commission and Food Connection Commission

• Works with parish leadership to implement the Five-Year Plan, including chairing a multicultural task force to lead the community in discernment on how to better honor diversity in parish life

• Oversees parish pastoral care ministries, including funerals, homebound ministry, hospitality, healthcare ministries, senior luncheons, LGBTQ ministry, parish social events, St. Leo playgroup

• Design, implement and oversee new parish communications plan including a new web site, Facebook group, and electronic newsletter

 

Ignatian Spiritual Life Center at St. Agnes | San Francisco, CA

• Novena of Grace Coordinator (2011-2013): Collaborate with leadership team to develop and implement strategic plan; create and manage the distribution of event marketing materials; manage and coordinate 100+ volunteers; coordinate all aspects of the 9-day liturgical event
