The Graduate Support Director is a 12 month, full-time, salaried, exempt employment position with a flexible schedule that is anchored around school days and the school calendar with occasional early morning and evening responsibilities. The Graduate Support Director works closely with the Academy’s President and Principal. The successful candidate will begin her/his duties in late April 2018. There is flexibility for a slightly later start date.
The two Graduate Support Directors work collaborative assisting graduates to gain admission to competitive, college preparatory high schools, maintain their enrollment in their high school through graduation, and gain admission to college or other post-secondary education. The program provides academic, life skill counseling, and community building activities to over 200 Academy graduates. The Directors visit students at their schools, stay in regularly communication with all college-aged students while maintaining relationships with admissions officials and school leadership at every institution. The Office delivers programs to groups of graduates and parents around admissions, test preparation, financial aid, social & culture adjustment, and other relevant topics. The Directors also organize social events for graduates.
