St. Lawrence High School in Kolkata Invites Jesuit Schools to Celebrate Peace through Sport

St Lawrence High School SportsSt. Lawrence High School in Kolkata, India, together with its alumni, St. Lawrence Old Boys’ Association, invites all Jesuit schools around the world to celebrate the power of sport and connect for a common goal: to express friendship, harmony and togetherness irrespective of nationality, color, gender, religion and creed on April 6, the International Day of Sport for Development and Peace.

This year St. Lawrence has organized two events to promote this togetherness across countries: Ensemble 2018 and Chess ‘n’ Mate 2018.

For Ensemble 2018, St. Lawrence invites Jesuit schools all over the world to host a sporting event or gathering where participants will hold White Cards as a symbol of peace and togetherness through sports.

Chess ‘n’ Mate 2018 is an international online school chess tournament hosted by St. Lawrence that will also take place on April 6.
